Program Director

Jean R. Metayer Jr. is a seasoned baseball professional with over 25 years of experience in coaching, program management, and player development across youth, high school, college, and elite travel levels. He has held leadership roles including Charlotte Director for USA Prime Coastal Carolinas, Head Coach for WOW Factor 16U and USA Baseball NTIS Southeast (12U–16U), and is the Founder of Metrolina-Elite Baseball Academy and Palisades Knights Legion Post 4. His coaching résumé also includes tenures with the Carolina Royals and Covenant Day High School. Off the field, he has served as Baseball Commissioner for Steele Creek Athletic Association and Vice President of CABL, reflecting his commitment to community and program growth. A former semi-pro player and UMass Amherst graduate, Metayer is recognized for his expertise in game strategy, off-season training, and guiding athletes toward collegiate success.

Coach Wright

Director of Baseball Operations

Coach Wright oversees the day-to-day operations of the baseball program, including budgets, travel coordination, and player logistics. He began his coaching career with Lake Norman Little League and has held roles with USA Prime Coastal Elite Stars 17U, Ridge Road Middle School, and WOW Factor Nation 17U.

Known for his detail-oriented and mentorship-driven approach, Coach Wright focuses on player development through fundamentals, discipline, and strategic training.
